Ford Bronco and Edge Recalled for APIM That May Overheat and Shutdown

The second-largest automaker of the Detroit Big Three is recalling a little over 849,000 sport utility vehicles for a hardware issue that will be resolved through a software update. As it happens, the accessory protocol interface module in the affected Bronco and Edge vehicles may experience a thermal shutdown for up to five minutes.
